INTRODUCTION ADRC DURING IAF, PAKISTAN      

IAF-PRGMEA GFA is Pakistan’s largest sustainable fashion competition, organised by the International Apparel Federation (IAF) and the Pakistan Ready Made Garments Exporter Association. The competition works to educate young fashion designers about sustainable design techniques and theories. It will also provide a platform in the spotlight for these aspiring designers.

The IAF-PRGMEA Global Fashion Award represents the epitome of quality, perfection and concept of a design. It also attracts the attention of design oriented companies, professionals and interest groups. This award is a stamp of excellence for designers and counts as an important milestone in one’s career.

This competition combines education and practical work and takes its participants on a worthwhile journey. It will challenge young designers to put their creative prowess to the test by proving their ability to transform textile waste into wearable, appealing and commercially viable products. The top ten finalists will be presenting their creations at the Festive Fashion Dinner at the 35th Fashion Convention in Lahore on the 12th of November, 2019. The IAF-PRGMEA Global Fashion Award will be given to the best designed outfit. There will also be a Runner’s up award for the second best design.
